Queensland conveyancing is technically the same across the state - the Property Law Act 2023 and the standard REIQ/Law Society contract apply everywhere. But each region has its own quirks. Bayside and Redlands properties need flood and storm tide checks. Gold Coast apartments almost always come with body corporate, special levies and strata disclosures. Ipswich and Logan have older stock with unapproved building work and easement issues. Sunshine Coast often brings acreage, bushfire overlays and developer covenants on new estates. Knowing your region helps us ask the right questions upfront - before you sign anything.
