The Queensland Law Society runs these awards every year to recognise the solicitors who go above and beyond – for their clients and for the profession. The small firm category shines a light on lawyers doing standout work without a giant firm behind them. Making the top five is a nod to the way George and the whole Empire Legal team do things: properly, warmly, and with a genuine obsession for getting it right.
