Lucy Thomas-Barnes
Lucy is a Senior Solicitor at Empire Legal whose work spans property law and conveyancing, estate planning and administration, family law, and commercial and business law. That breadth is deliberate: these areas tend to overlap around the big moments in life and business, and Lucy is at her best helping clients see how they connect.
Admitted as a solicitor in 2022 after several years of pre-admission experience, Lucy brings both technical depth and a practical head to her matters. She works closely with Empire’s specialist team so clients get well-rounded advice, whatever stage of life or business they’re navigating: estate planning alongside a property purchase, or family law considerations that touch a business.
Outside the office, Lucy is always on the hunt for the next great café or scenic walking spot across Brisbane and the Gold Coast. She loves a good footy game (go Lions!), is a proud dog parent to Teddy the poodle, and is a regular (if not always reliable) trivia team member, generally bringing more personality than points to the table.
