When the Australian Business Journal named Empire Legal one of its 15 Australian law firms to watch, it put a national spotlight on something plenty of Queenslanders had already worked out – this is property law done differently.

Founded by George Sourris and Abi Wright in 2017, Empire Legal grew from a small practice in a spare bedroom into a full law firm with offices in Spring Hill in the Brisbane CBD and Manly on Brisbane’s bayside. Today a team of around 20 looks after buyers and sellers right across Queensland.

What earned the recognition
